The Person Behind the Brand: A Sharp Sense for Agricultural Flavors

Ms. Hoang Thuy, co-founder of Mía & More, has a special sensitivity to the natural flavors of sugarcane and tropical fruits. She chooses not to use industrial powder mixes or syrups because they take away the “soul” of traditional Vietnamese drinks.

She is the one who patiently tested dozens of recipes and measured each gram of ingredients to create Mía & More’s unique and creative sugarcane menu, including Dragon Fruit Strawberry Cane, Coconut Cane (Milk), and Durian Cane.

Before any cup of original sugarcane juice is served to customers, it must meet her standards: a smooth, silky texture, a fresh jade-green color, and the cleanest, most delicate natural sweetness.

Mr. Nhat Dinh and His 6-Year Battle with Machinery

While Ms. Hoang Thuy keeps the flavor alive, Mr. Nhat Dinh is the one who keeps the entire system running smoothly.

After seeing the shop struggle with sugarcane juicers breaking down again and again – 12 sugarcane juicers broke in just 10 months, and even the most expensive model could not keep up – he made a bold decision: to build his own machine.

Starting from zero with no background in mechanical engineering, Mr. Nhat Dinh spent 6 years learning step by step, going through 13 scrapped designs and leaving behind 40 failed juicers.

The result of that sweat-filled startup journey was Mía & More’s exclusive Commercial Heavy-Duty Sugarcane Juicer, which earned ETL Sanitation certification. It became proof of the founders’ dream to build a Vietnamese F&B brand with international standards.
